Breathe Fire: As an action, the monster can spend 4 Magic Points and breathe a jet of flame, inflicting 2d6 damage to every hit location of a target within 20m unless it successfully evades.
Choking Smoke: The Forest Guardian breathes and is always surrounded by asphyxiating smoke. This is treated as a poison if breathed in as follows:
Potency 70 Resistance: Endurance Onset Time: Immediate Duration: 6 minutes
Conditions: Cough and choke if within 5m of the Forest Guardian on a failed resistance roll, leading to asphyxiation and incapacitation, as per the Mythras rules on asphyxiation (Mythras, page 71). The damage is only temporary, and all affects are alleviated after ten minutes of breathing clean air.
Spit Venom: This is a ranged attack, using the Guardian’s usual combat style. A victim struck by the venom suffers the same effect as if bitten by a reed snake (see page MBa 250).
Thunderous Bellow. The Guardian spends 2 Magic Points and emits a trumpeting bellow. All within 20 m who fail an Endurance test are knocked prone and deafened for the remainder of the scene. Pottery within range is shattered.
