If Karras presents himself as a scholar, he is in fact an experienced explorer. He is not one of those who spend their time studying in the scriptoriums. He's a man of the field. Karras has contracted an honor and blood debt to Theleb Kâaarna, a wizard from Pan Tang. And the time has come to pay off the debt. He brought with him a team of adventurers. At more than 50 years of age, the explorer with a dark complexion begins to thin out, but remains vigorous. Regularly chewing herbs that restore his energy and allow him to easily follow his stooges, man likes to pretend weakness when meeting new people. This gives him the advantage of surprise when situations degenerate and he thus avoids a number of minor troubles by letting his antagonists classify him as a harmless old man. Dressed in a ripped bure that suits his scholarly figure, Karras accompanies his outfit with sturdy leather boots - not exactly the breeches or sandals expected at the feet of a bookworm. |
