Notes The Eclipsed Oracle When the sky poured liquid fire upon the Nargan to destroy the Artmali Empire, this high priestess of the Blue Moon desperately invoked forbidden magic to phase herself out of reality and escape the destruction. However, the sheer apocalyptic chaos of the Firefall shattered her spell, trapping her forever between the material world and the void. She is no longer a living Veldang, but a cold, lethal manifestation of entropy bound to the buried Witchtower. Visuals & Eerie Interaction: Shadowy The Oracle does not appear as a fleshy monster, but as a perfectly silent, three-dimensional silhouette of a tall, regal Artmali woman. The chaos energies that corrupted her spell granted her the Shadowy mutation. She actively absorbs the ambient light in her immediate surroundings, dragging a suffocating pool of total darkness with her wherever she goes. As she approaches, the party's torches will dim to dying embers, and even magical light will struggle to penetrate the inky blackness that heralds her arrival. Movement & Defense: Intangible Driven mad by centuries of isolation in the buried ruins, she patrols the Witchtower by gliding effortlessly through its collapsed architecture. Possessing the Intangible chaos feature, she moves through solid objects, stone walls, and fallen pillars as though she were entirely non-corporeal. While fully intangible, she cannot be harmed by physical weapons, allowing her to silently ambush adventurers by rising directly up through the alkali-dusted floors or reaching through sealed stone doors. Lethal Combat Threat: Vampiric & Chilling Touch The Eclipsed Oracle does not fight with claws or weapons. When she strikes, she solidifies just enough to reach her hands directly into a victim's chest, utilizing a terrible combination of the Chilling Touch and Vampiric chaos features. Her freezing, entropic grasp bypasses physical armor entirely, draining the victim's life force—temporarily stripping away their Constitution and inducing deep, unnatural fatigue. As she siphons away their warmth and health to momentarily ease her own eternal agony, her victims are left as pale, frost-bitten husks in the dark. Tactics in the Witchtower: The Oracle is an intelligent, stealthy apex predator perfectly suited to her environment. She will use her Intangible nature to stalk the party unseen from within the walls of the Witchtower, waiting until they are in a cramped, vulnerable position. She will then emerge, using her Shadowy aura to blind and disorient them, before making calculated, Vampiric strikes to drain the strongest fighters into a state of frozen exhaustion.
