Notes A chardun or thistyl-imp is a diminutive servant of The Forest in the shape of a vaguely humanoid thistle less than a metre tall. They have 2–4 roots for legs and 2–4 leaves for arms, a fibrous stalk for a body, and a thistle flower for a head, with the purple petals appearing like spiky hair. Charduns are covered in tough spikes; anyone grasping or striking them takes 1d2 automatic damage to the location used.
