Once-Men are neither man nor beast, but rather an irradiated and
corrupted fusion of both. Slight and agile, they run unclothed in packs,
preferring to hunt at night. They are malformed and their rough, pale
skin forms spurs and is mottled with sores and tumours. Their faces are
a blend of human and animal with flattened features and projecting
teeth. Nothing quite fits together properly. They are extremely vicious
and move with incredible speed in their attacks, but at rest show tribal
behaviours. In combat, ferals fight in threes, seeking easy targets
first, tearing through them without mercy. Eventually, Once-Men turn on
their handlers if all other targets are exhausted. They do not stop
fighting until all potential targets are dead. When loosed from a
warband, they pair up if possible. Communication is mainly via grunts
and howls. They obey strength
